The Nautical Book Club is operated by Ariadna Pons, trading as a sole trader in the UK.

Services Offered

The Nautical Book Club offers:

  • A monthly book subscription service featuring maritime-themed books.
  • The Captain’s Shelves, a curated shop for technical nautical books.
  • The “Others” section, including games, book blind dates, and book boxes.

All sales are for personal use only and resale is prohibited.

Subscription Terms
  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly. By subscribing, you authorize recurring payments.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription anytime via your account dashboard.
  • Voting Process: Subscribers vote monthly on a selection of three books, and the winning book will be sent to all subscribers.
  • Gift Subscriptions: Gift subscriptions are available for 3, 6, and 12 months and can be activated anytime using the provided code.
Payments and Pricing
  • Pricing: The monthly subscription fee is £15, including delivery.
  • Payment Processing: Payments are securely processed via [Insert Payment Gateway – Stripe/PayPal/GoCardless].
  • Non-Book Products: Please note that VAT may apply to some non-book products.
Shipping and Delivery
  • UK Delivery Only: Currently, we ship within the UK.
  • Shipping Time: Orders are dispatched within the first week of each month.
  • Failed Deliveries: If a delivery fails due to incorrect information provided, we are not responsible for replacing the book without an additional charge.
Returns and Refund Policy
  • Books: Due to the nature of the subscription service, books are non-returnable and non-refundable. Please refer to Return & Cancellations for the bookstore.
  • Defective Items: If a book arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days for a replacement.
